Dear All,
After about six months I am back with my complex experience. I am leading a India Localization project where we are implementing India Localization with roll-out of nine modules (INV,PO,OM,WMS,MRP,AP,AR,GL,FA) with a totel key resource of three including me and a complete offshore implementation.
This was a quite challenging and tricky implementation to carry out the entire phase through conference calls and meetings. The best part in this - to date we have interacted only with the key users in US not with any the users in India.
The project seems to be normal till date and hope to have a smooth transition after Go-Live which we have planned on the Diwali Date (27-Oct-2008). Will let you know where we are after Diwali holidays.

Hi ,
I am really impressed with the way this blog is organized.
Incidentally, I am on a project involving India localization for A Compnay with 100% Sales through exports.
We have started Base Application set-ups, but not very confident abt India localization set-ups.I have all Oracle PDFs for India localization. I request you to share methodoly/documents to set-up Localization part.
